Stamford Photography Club Presents Peter Turnley – The Human Face of Covid-19 and highlights of his life’s work – Virtual Presentation Wednesday, October 21, 2020 @7:00 pm
SPC welcomes back Peter Turnley, who will present some of his photographs from his new book, “A New York-Paris Visual Diary. The Human Face of Covid-19” as well as highlights of his life’s work. This will be a Zoom presentation and is open to other photo clubs. This presentation will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 7:00 PM EST.
Peter Turnley is renowned for his photography of the realities of the human condition. His photographs have been featured on the cover of Newsweek forty-three times and are published frequently in many of the world’s most prestigious publications including: Harper’s, Paris Match, Geo, National Geographic, The London Sunday Times, Le Figaro and New Yorker.

Peter has worked in over ninety countries and has witnessed most major stories of international geopolitical and historic significance in the last forty years and has photographed most of the world’s conflicts. Peter has produced portraits and covered many of the modern world’s most influential people: Obama, Castro, Gorbachev, Yeltsin, Putin, Mandela, Arafat, Schroeder, Ceausescu, Gaddafi, Chirac, Clinton, Regan, Bush Sr., Lady Diana, and Pope Jean Paul II, among others.

Peter also leads renowned workshops on Street Photography in Paris, Cuba, Venice, and New York.
